A-listers everywhere are shedding their long locks and embracing a sahorter, more stylish do - the BOB. The revival started with Victoria Beckham's 'Pob' but things have softened up somewhat since then. The over-ironed look is out and in its place comes gentle waves, sweeping fringes and touchable volume. Here are the latest members to join the bob brigade...
EMMA BUTON:
We can't tell you how we were when we saw that the lovely Emma Bunton had chopped her long lochs off in favour of this super-chic bob. The style in simply made for her. The softly tousled finish lends a youthful vibe and the buttery blonde is prefect against her flawless complexion.
MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL: With her quirky fashion sense and love of retro styling. Maggie's more like Brit chick than a hollywood star. Her naturaly curly style benefits from being this short; the cut encourages the texture to spring up, rather than being dragged down. The warm chestnut hue is striking against her blue eyes too.
REESE WITHERSPOON:
Misses witherspoon does classic style so well and is proof that you don't have to ba a slave to fashion to stand out on the red carpet. This latest look isn't drastic change for her but losing just a few inches of hair has made a world of difference. The sweeping fringe adds an element of softnes to this otherwise blunt cut.
ANNE HATHAWAY:
Anne seems to have funked up her image recently, ditching prom dresses and girlie hues in favour of leather trousers and killer heels. This new haircut is ideally suited to that transformation.; her dark locks look ten times healthier thanks to a good chop. The subtle red tones can be enhanced by using a temporary colour which will rinse away when you shampoo.
EVA LONGORIA-PARKER
Opinion seems to be devided about Mrs Longoria Parker latest look but we reckon it was about time for a change. It might not be as glamorous as her long locks but it is certainly more flattering for her tiny frame. The smooth, sleek finish is also more contemporary than the voluminous, blown-out style she used to favour.
