Bangs are something that come in and out of fashion as the wind changes but it would seem that are coming back into fashion again if recent celebrities are anything to go by. Cheryl Cole famously had them as did her fellow Girls Aloud band member; Kimberley and it would appear that they are fast going to be appearing in everyone’s hairstyles once more before long.

The good news about long hair is that there are many types of bangs that look perfect with it. There is the pair of side swept bangs, wonderfully worn by Kate Winslet and then you have the blunt one length bangs as worn by Kimberley from Girls Aloud. If you are really brave, you could always go for Rihanna style bangs which are choppy, layered and with a lot of punk and edge to them.

There are even hair pieces that you can get to instantly add a pair of bangs to long hair without having to have them cut in which just goes to show how popular this hairstyle is.
