Hairstyles for Round Faces

It is the age of the sharp and the distinct. Zero-figures, pointy features, even clothing that can poke your eyes out. Yet, there is nothing more pleasing to the eye than a beautifully formed classical round-face. A full, healthy countenance goes a long way in leaving a good impression. But it comes with its own set of issues: Which hairdo? As a rule of thumb, the spherical structure cries out to be framed evenly to have the most appeal. Since Mona Lisa, herself a flat haired round-face, many of our favourite on-screen goddesses have been similarly styled.

Long hair or short, symmetrical or not, it is always a challenge to be new and different. But the fact of the matter remains that as long as the hair accentuates the face rather than distracting from it, we're good to go. If you have a round face, some hairstyles that can look great on you are layered bangs instead of straight bangs, short hairstyles that produce the illusion of height and styles that frame the face closely with hair.
