David Beckham’s Haircuts - Summer Fall 2009 Celebrity Hair Edition

David Beckham has often been labeled as the “celebrity trend setter”. Over the course of his sporting career, David Beckham’s hairstyles have constantly evolved and changed. Let’s have a look.

David Beckham’s Hair

Perhaps the most popular and eye-gawking David Beckham hairstyle was his mohawk hairstyle worn during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The style is shaved almost completely bald on the sides and back; leaving only the middle front part on. It is definitely a bold fashion statement which thousands of fans emulated his hairstyle; even long after he had moved on to a different hairstyle. Let’s take a look at his other hairstyles.

In the same year, David Beckham also sported a short, spiked, front asymmetrical hairstyle. This was yet another bold and daring hairstyle and not the best choice for those with receding hairlines. Later, he moved on to a haircut which was a sexy and classy haircut yet maintaining an innocent image at the same time. It was referred to as a layered shaggy hairstyle.

The particular hairstyle was easy to maintain and perfect for guys with fine to medium-fine hair because it is a hairstyle that is very easy and fast to style. Later on in the same year (2003), he underwent many changes in his life including moving from Man United to Real Madrid and settling down with Victoria Beckham. He complemented this change with a new hairstyle – the ponytail. It also marked his transition as a former wild child to a sexy sports fashion icon.
